Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Bullet Journal ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

Description of Service

Bullet Journal is a digital journaling application that allows you to:

  • Create and organize journals, tabs, and pages
  • Track moods and habits
  • Export your data
  • Sync data across devices via iCloud

Subscription Terms

Free Tier

The App offers a free tier with limited features. No payment is required for the free tier.

Paid Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions (Basic, Premium, and Family) are available as monthly or annual plans:

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
  • You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings

Free Trials

We may offer free trials for paid subscriptions. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be automatically charged for the subscription.

User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the App in compliance with all applicable laws
  • Not use the App for any unlawful or harmful purpose
  • Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or distribute the App
  • Maintain the security of your device and iCloud account

Your Content

You retain all rights to the content you create in Bullet Journal. We do not claim ownership of your journals, notes, or any other data you create.

You are solely responsible for your content and any consequences of creating or sharing it.

Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, and code, is owned by jbitpro and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute the App
  • Use our trademarks without permission
  • Reverse engineer or decompile the App

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

  • The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Defects will be corrected
  • The App will meet your specific requirements

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, jbitpro shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, arising out of your use of the App.

Data Loss

While we strive to ensure data integrity, we are not responsible for any loss of data. We strongly recommend:

  • Enabling iCloud backup
  • Regularly exporting your journals
  • Maintaining device backups

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the App or by updating this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
