Overview
Easli ("the App") is developed by Joel Brecker ("we", "us", "our"). We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data the App collects, how it is used, and your rights.
The short version: Easli does not collect, transmit, or share any of your personal data. Everything stays on your device.
Data Storage
All data you create in Easli is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This includes:
- Mood check-in entries (mood rating, emotions, activities, social context, notes)
- AI coaching responses
- Journal entries
- Health correlation data
- App preferences and settings
No data is transmitted to external servers. There are no user accounts, no cloud sync, and no remote databases.
On-Device AI
Easli uses Apple's Foundation Models framework and NaturalLanguage framework to provide AI-powered coaching. All AI processing runs entirely on your device. No prompts, responses, or personal data are sent to any external AI service.
HealthKit
If you grant permission, Easli reads the following data from Apple Health:
- Sleep analysis
- Step count
- Heart rate
- Exercise time
Easli also writes State of Mind entries to Apple Health when you complete a mood check-in.
HealthKit data is used solely to calculate correlations between your mood and health metrics. This data is never transmitted off your device. HealthKit access is optional and can be revoked at any time in Settings.
Notifications
Easli may request permission to send local notifications for daily mood check-in reminders. These notifications are scheduled locally on your device. No push notification servers are involved.
Subscriptions
Easli offers auto-renewable subscriptions managed through Apple's App Store. Subscription transactions are processed entirely by Apple. We do not collect or have access to your payment information, Apple ID, or purchase history.
Analytics and Tracking
Easli does not include any analytics SDKs, advertising frameworks, or tracking tools. We do not collect usage data, crash reports, or device identifiers. We do not track you in any way.
Third-Party Services
Easli does not integrate with any third-party services, APIs, or SDKs that collect user data. The only external interaction is with Apple's StoreKit framework for subscription management, which is handled entirely by Apple.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, share, rent, or disclose your personal data to any third parties. Since no data leaves your device, there is nothing to share.
Children's Privacy
Easli is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Data Deletion
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it. You can delete all app data by deleting the Easli app from your device. You can also delete individual check-in entries within the app.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
